                       2012 Symposium News

The planning is already well underway for the next AIA Symposium
scheduled for September 16th - October 7th named “Ancient Enigma”. The
four artists are:

  • Isidore Batu Siharulidze,

For a sneak peak have a look at these two websites.  We'd like to say a
special thanks to our host families and to remind everyone else that there
are lots of opportunities to volunteer. Why not make this the year you take

The Spring Iron Melt was a Great Success!

Over 45 people attended the AIA Spring Iron Melt and a good time
was had by all. Some fantastic art was created and AIA raised some
much needed funds. If you missed out this time there will be another
Iron Melt scheduled for the Fall.

Summer Solstice Walk 2012

       Join Us for a Summer Solstice Walk

Experience sunset on the mountain on one of the longest days of the year.
Please join us on Sunday, June 24th for a guided tour of one of Southern
New Hampshire's finest artistic and naturalistic resources. After the tour
we will gather at the Phoenix to watch the sunset.  

                                                       Sunday, June 24th

                       Meet at the Studio at 6:30 pm
                           Sunset occurs at 8:29 pm


Park at the Studio and join the tour. Bug repellent is a MUST! You might
like to bring a comfy blanket or folding chair to watch the sunset. You can
also bring your own snacks and other refreshments (remember we are a
pack in pack out park). We are requesting a donation from non-members
of $5 for an individual or $10 for a family. Please pre-register so we know
how many guides we will need and so we can email you if the walk is
canceled due to weather.

10th Annual Andres Institute / Brookline Public Library Art Show


Initial call for artists who would like to exhibit in 10th annual Andres
Institute/Brookline Public Library Art show. Art Show will be held from
September 20th - October 4th, 2012. Interested artists should contact
Nancy at 672-6132.
