ARTIST STATEMENT:

In an effort to create a space for contemplation, I created this work based on the unobtainable dream that never is. As a cry to the
world, these forms represent our material world, these forms represent our material world and it’s conflict with nature. In our
tendency to create safe places we bring up past experiences, which are sometimes not as comfortable as we wish to remember.

With this hopeless game, we create these places for ourselves that are not available except through sadness. However, with
beautiful and natural surroundings we can achieve a balance with the world and seek our own truth.
